At Move Breathe Live we offer a unique and one of a kind interpretation of traditional Yoga classes. Each one of our instructors are trained and certified in distinctive styles of Yoga or Movement and Mobility, cultivating experiences from all walks of life and wellness- which all blend together to channel a mystical experience on the mat.

Step inside our studio and be immediately transformed. Our calming space has been designed to channel a soothing and reviving environment so you can achieve fulfillment in your practice. A mixture of gentle lighting and warm room temperatures, which average between 85-100 degrees, allows your body and mind to fully surrender to your movement- granting your muscles and emotions a full-body and mind detox as you flow and forget about the outside world.

I know that for me the transition from summer to fall makes me stiff and achy. Fascia shrinks like shrink wrap as we sleep every night but it’s worse as the temperature changes. Unfortunately that is life, especially as we age, but a movement practice will aid your body in this transition.

In Chinese Medicine Fall is governed by the Metal element. The Metal Element govern’s the Lungs and the Large Intestine. These meridians are in the arms, chest and face so they are associated with the arm fascial lines.

In yoga we can effectively aid these organs by strengthening and stretching these meridians. This month we will focus on the chest, arms, neck and the upper back. We will focus on the upper body but we will always include the entire spine. We will also work with the breath and the core.

Imagine your body’s vast energy network, take energy into your lungs, let go of all that is unnecessary. Receive and store energy, eliminate waste. Let go of what is inside, cleaning mucous and toxins. Like the falling leaves, let go: grieve releasing loss. Deepen your breathing, channel your energy, consciously use the tools you have been given.

The class is structured as a Gentle Yoga Flow class focusing on body awareness & ends with a restorative posture for relaxation. We explore & connect the basic yoga postures at a slow & meditative pace to allow the student to move safely into each pose: respecting the varied nature of each student's body & range of motion. We will connect breath with each movement enhancing body awareness. We will move sitting, to standing, to reclining & props are encouraged. The class offers nurturing, kindness, & compassion for the body, regardless of whether the student is a beginner, returning after an injury, learning to befriend the body or someone who wants a gentle yoga class.

Heated Stretch: Monday 6:30pm w/Sarah Join Sarah under the warmth of 15 infrared heaters creating the ideal class setting to move, stretch, & breathe. The room will be heated to 85-90 degrees, just hot enough to get your body limber and supple as you are guided through gentle stretches and poses to help bring the mind and body into stillness.

Heated Yoga: Wednesday 6:00pm w/ Judy

Join Judy as she guides you through gentle yoga flows that focus on stretching and holding poses. The room is heated to 95-98 degrees, just warm enough to break a nice sweat! This class is open to all levels and designed for EVERY BODY"
